  If you want a local casual feel don't let the white table cloths fool you. Belly up to the bar or claim a high top table. The Big Elm IPA on draft is wonderful ($4.75). Their New England Clam Chowder is fantastic, the fries are seasoned just right, and the burger was cooked perfectly. Being somewhat new to coastal cuisine I don't have a comparison yet but the stuffed Quahog was delicious.

  Mediocre food, long wait, confused waitress. The restaurant looked nice, but it's just one of (too!) many overpriced places on Cape Cod, aging appearance (you can always tell by the bathrooms if they take care of the property). I ordered the breaded sole and it was very bland, I had to add salt to give it some taste. Worst of all, though, it came with a totally sugary sauce that completely masked the taste of the fish. The pine nuts had no flavor, neither did the potatoes. Waitress brought the wrong drink for one of us, forgot to serve the salad for two of us and had to be asked for it and brought two, instead of three pieces of bread. The huge portions do not make up for the lack of quality. I recommend to skip this place.
